We spent a week camped next to this dry river. We had to dig a well in it there to get out water, and one night we were stuck at camp because it had rained and a few feet of flowing, muddy water kept us held up at our camp.
Fantastic colours and the low point of view is well chosen! Is this post processed in any way? /Peter

@Peter Mannfolk: Yes, I took three shots at different exposure levels and used HDRI software called Photomatix.
great composition....nice angle and tones. i like the ray of light coming from the clouds...

this is a cool shot - i like the low angle to bring the ground surface into the shot nicely and the sky looks very dramatic as well!
