In the last few days of my trip, our team went on a safari where this lizard was spotted crawling around some rocks. I almost couldn't believe it when I saw it; I had no idea an animal like that existed. It was a truly amazing find. And no, I did not mess with the colors in the picture.
far out that's the ugliest, beautiful coloured reptile I've ever seen. A macro shot of it would have been excellent!! How strange...I looked at it for about a minute.

@Colour blind: Yes, I do with I could have gotten closer, but it was simply impossible. It was far out on some rocks over a cliff edge (at least 300 feet) and the thing would scamper away if you even looked at it too long.
