This is one of my favorite pictures just because I feel like it tells a great story. It captures the life and tone that I have felt in that place better than I had expected. Therefore, this picture has become a staple of what my time there looked and felt like.
This was taken deep in the bush in a place called Samburu District in Kenya. It is one of the places that has been cut very deeply by the drought over the past few years, because their only possessions out there are their animals, and if the animals don't eat and die, they literally have nothing- nothing to their name, and nothing to eat.
